Outside of School Activities-Many kids in are grade play baseball outside of school for a rec league and they say that it is very easy for them and they say that it is fun.Many kids from are school play rec baseball because most of the fields and games and practices are right around are school which means it is easier to go to practice or games and back.
Band- This friday on October 5th the middle school band will be performing with the high school marching band, We are meeting in the MS band room at 5:30 and meeting with the high school shortly after. We are playing the fight song in the stands during the first half the performing seven nation army at halftime.
Leadership- The leadership group is going to UNO on October 15th. From there, we will all be assigned different volunteering jobs. Also coming up, on October 18th, we will be reuniting with the people we met at leadership camp this past summer.
BO3-Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision.The game also features a zombies mode and a nightmares mode which replaces all enemies as zombies. Owen: My favorite map in the call of duty series is called nuketown because it is really small and has a lot of action. Also my favorite weapon in the game is called the xmc and is a submachine gun. I like the gun because the camos you can put on it looks cool and the gun is really power full.
Another opinion: My favorite map is hunted because if you play hide and seek you can find good hiding spots in this map. My favorite gun in Bo3 is AK47 because
ReBel-The first meeting for this year is going to occur this week, and they are looking to recruit new members since they don’t have very many members for this school year and are looking to expand.
Volleyball- This week the Lewis Central 8th grade volleyball team will be taking on their rivals, Glenwood. All three teams play at Glenwood and are ready to fight for the win. The A team struggled when taking them on at home but managed to pull through with a phenomenal win. All three teams will play fantastic and show how the LC volleyball team works.
Choir- The High school girls choir teacher Mrs.Langdon. We are learning how to read notes
Football- This week we play Glenwood they are one of our rivals that we should beat, they are proclaimed to have some big kids so we will have to have really good defense and drive on offense
Cross country-Thursday on October 4 the lewis central cross country team has a meet in Atlantic IA at 4:15.There are 4 different schools going to the meet Saint Albert,Atlantic,Lewis Central and Harlan.
